What’s in store for #OSFC2025?

Get ready! From October 7th to 10th, 2025, the Open Source Firmware Conference returns, and we’re thrilled to announce that it will once again be held in California, USA, at Google’s Sunnyvale campus! (Google - MP3, 1170 Bordeaux Dr Building 3, Sunnyvale CA 94089)

This year, we’re excited to host a back-to-back event with the UEFI 2025 Developers Conference and Plugfest!

Open Mic

The mic is yours! We've got a super cool opportunity for all you spontaneous thinkers out there.

So, on Thursday, the third day of the conference, we've got some open slots just waiting to be filled with your brilliant ideas. Yes, you heard that right - it's time for the Open-Mic session, and we want YOU to grab the mic and share your thoughts!

Field Trip to Meta HQ

At #OSFC2025, we’re not just talking about open source .. we’re taking it on the road!

On Wednesday, October 8, we’re going on a Field Trip to Meta HQ featuring food, drinks, and a peek behind the scenes at what Meta’s BMC team has been working on.

Transportation is organized by OSFC. More information during the opening.

Hotels Nearby

This year we were not able to reserve a specific contigent for anyone visiting OSFC. However, we these are some hotels nearby the conference that you can pick. Any other hotel will obviously also work. The hotels are listed in no particular order.

The Grand Hotel (Crew Hotel)

This is the hotel where the OSFC crew will be. It's a 10 minute Uber ride (or 1:15h walk) away from the venue. It's budget-effective, looks clean and our crew will transform the lobby into a giant hacker room (maybe).

Hilton Garden Inn Sunnyvale

If the budget wouldn't be so restrictive this would have been the hotel where the crew would be. But we're living on a small budget! It's a 5 minute Uber ride (25 minute walk) away from the venue.

Treehouse Silicon Valley

Budget is not an issue? We got the right place to spend your corporate money. The hotel looks super nice. I doubt that you will get an Uber because it's just a 5 minute walk away.
